Lord of the Flies
Dir. Suzsanna Hook at The Geoffrey Whitworth Theatre
In 2023 I worked on a Youth production of Lord of the Flies at the Geoffrey Whitworth Theatre. I built the beast mask, breakable shell and other props and took part in the set construction team.

The structure of the mask was created of plasterzote with foam clay to create texture. Inside the mask is an adjustable welding helmet base as I had to build this before knowing the actor. The clay was used to build up aroundd sections attatched with magnets that could be removed to make the mask "decay".
